Jay’s long and varied career as a producer, mixer and engineered has ranged from Pop to Classical and almost everything in between.

His credits include Whitney Houston, Roberta Flack, Jimmy Buffett, John Denver, Chaka Khan, Placido Domingo, Nina Simone, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Béla Fleck, Jennifer Rush and many more.

In 1995, Jay Rifkin founded Mojo Records, a multi-platinum joint venture with Universal that he sold to Zomba/BMG in 2001. Mojo’s Platinum and Gold selling artists included Goldfinger, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, and Reel Big Fish.

Jay Rifkin began his corporate career by building the audio electronics company Xonex, which he took public at the age of 27. He is also a founder of the innovative audio mastering company Sana360.
