Amy Haben started her music journalism career as the sole contributing writer for Legs McNeil and Gillian McCain’s Please Kill Me website in 2012. This was based on the book of the same name that Rolling stone commented ‘“No volume serves juicier dish on punk’s New York birth . . . Tales of sex, drugs and music that will make you wish you’d been there.”. Amy went on to film footage of Blondie drummer, Clem Burke, for his Sky Arts documentary, My View. Amy was raised in Southern California, where she was heavily embedded in the punk rock scene. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, where she is working on a memoir. Amy has become one of the preeminent voices of the Punk era and is regarded as a true pioneer of music journalism.
